Brentech is often engaged in reverse engineering and industrialization activities, from the prototype to the finished product. Today companies are looking for partners who are also able to make improvements and customizations for their machine and in this Brentech, a mechanical design studio from Schio, Vicenza, is always ready to propose valid technical solutions, convenient on multiple fronts and technologically advanced depending on the particular market demands. Collaboration proposals have recently been received from companies in the construction sector interested in involving Brentech in the reverse engineering and industrialization of an operating machine.
Why has the company applied to Brentech?
The customer’s goal was to industrialize its own product starting from a working prototype created internally. The company also needed a flexible, high-performance, economical and reliable solution, having a smaller footprint than other items in the same category made by the competition. They therefore turned to Brentech to be able to study and implement improvements from a design point of view to make the machine more suitable, personalized and industrializable.
From the planning analysis of the product to its customisation
The first phase in which Brentech was involved can be considered a reverse engineering of the prototype during which all the dimensions of the parts were detected. Subsequently, everything was brought back into a 3D environment using three-dimensional modeling software. Once this important phase of survey and analysis was completed, the reproduced assembly was processed and the required design changes were implemented. Brentech proved to be very attentive throughout the entire planning phase of the machine, carrying out very in-depth technological scouting trying to identify and propose valid technical solutions based on the customer’s requests and the several issues encountered.
Brentech towards a better quality product
Compared to the company’s already well-established products, thanks to Brentech, substantial improvements have been made by the optimization of the quality, performance and durability of an already developed product. One of the innovations made, for example, was the choice of a liquid-cooled engine,in order to obtain g reater power while maintaining reduced dimensions. Usually for these small sizes, on economic reasons the choice falls on electric motors with traditional air cooling; however, this leads to the machines being less durable over time and requiring continuous maintenance to be able to work continuously so as not to overheat.
Thanks to the modification made by Brentech, the machine is smaller in size and therefore easier to handle during use, but the most important thing is that the engine is able to maintain a lower working temperature (given the greater efficiency of the cooling process liquid) thus obtaining higher performance compared to the previous model and reduced maintenance over time. Furthermore, the entire carpentry part has been designed to facilitate the creation of the individual components and therefore optimize procurement costs. In this way the customer has obtained a valid product from a technical point of view and can face the sales market with a competitive price.
